Jaxon Yoon is a rising senior at Valencia High School (CA) and has been studying the cello for 11 years.  In the Summer of 2025, he made his Carnegie Hall solo debut, and has been invited back several times since. In the Fall of 2026, he will make his solo debut at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport, Massachusetts. Jaxon has achieved numerous honors, including 1st prize in the Miclot International Music Competition, 1st prize in the JCM Concerto Competition, 1st prize in the Golden Classical Awards Competition, 2nd prize in the SYMF Competition, and Quarterfinalist in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. He has also received influential teachings from renowned cellists including Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, Jens Peter Maintz, Clive Greensmith, Brinton Averil Smith, Nicholas Canellakis, Clara Kim, Zvi Plesser, Alexander Zhiroff, Joseph Kuipers, and Galvin Cello Quartet member Luiz Venturelli. 

A passionate orchestral player, Jaxon has performed extensively with the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra and Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings in the renowned Segerstrom Hall. In the Summer of 2026, he was named associate principal of the Juilliard Summer Orchestra.

An avid chamber musician, Jaxon gave a six-performance tour throughout Korea and Japan with his piano trio in the Summer of 2025. They have also earned consecutive finalist positions in the MTAC VOCE Chamber Competition. Jaxon will continue his chamber music studies at Colburn School. 

Jaxon also enjoys giving back to his community and is the president of the volunteer ensemble, "Quarantet". Starting during COVID, it began with the mission of spreading joy with musical performances. They have performed in senior homes, preschools, hospitals, country clubs, city events, and numerous times for the U.S. Secret Service in the Nixon Library. He also volunteers through Love in Music, which provides free instrumental music and theory lessons to the underprivileged.

Ellie Liu is a ten-year-old violinist. She began learning the violin at age 4 and was admitted to the Juilliard Pre-College Division at 7, where she currently studies with Ms. Ann Setzer and Mr. Khullip Jeung. Ellie has received many prizes in competitions, including the American Protege International Piano & Strings Competition, the International Young Artists Competition, the International Grande Music Competition, the Prima Volta Music Competition, the New York Laureate International Music Competition, Camerata artists International Competition. She made her orchestral debut with the New Virtuoso Orchestra at the age of 6. In 2025, she won the gold prize in the Bravura Philharmonic Young Artists Concerto Competition and was invited to play with the orchestra. She also played with the Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra in 2025. In 2026, she was featured in the Juilliard Celebration Concert at Peter Jay Sharp Theater. Outside of music, Ellie enjoys math and swimming.
